Maybe he's been too busy ropin' trout near Portland! You guys notice "Ian" hasn't been back since the original post 2 weeks ago? You've all done a great job of avoiding hotspotting, but it's probably time to quit posting anything useful in this thread....
Sounds like a winner!61.....uh 4.....G...22....6 I think
Bummer Dean, you were that close to re-writing a Three Dog Night song...Well...I've never been to Portland, and probably never will be, but now know that I won't be planning any trout trips there.
That's a lot different than it is in WA state.and they know more about where to find trout than anyone else.
I wouldn't take a lot of stock in their steelhead advice. One thing no one has said: call the ODFW Office for your area - they're listed in the fishing regulations. They're nice folks, and they'll tell you what they know - and they know more about where to find trout than anyone else.
I wouldn't take a lot of stock in their steelhead advice.
I wouldn't know, but we were talking about trout in Oregon. Portland is still in Oregon, isn't it? I never go there and it might have seceded...That's a lot different than it is in WA state.
Since we've decided the creator of this thread is not coming back, I think it would now be safe for everyone to post their favorite spots for resident trout.
Somebody else go first...
