If you haven’t checked out Nightmare Flies (thanks @clarkman) their titan dubbing is insane. Really good stuff
That's how I do it too. If you're careful, there's a really nice crease to put eyes if you so choose.

I’m having a bit of a temper tantrum with the damn eyes. I struggle every time
That dubbing is a magical product
Yeah, if the eyes are too small it sucks. I use locktite gel. Some guys use gels that take longer to dry.

Tied here as a skwala; skipped the Krystal Flash underwing and added an indicator - fish will still see the fly and now I will, too.

wing - deer hair dyed dun
legs - medium rubber brown

Rear hook: Umpqua baitfish stinger #6
tail: olive soft hackle Softex together and cutout notch
body : 2 shanks, olive and orange mixed soft hackles. Bigger feather as you go forward
Front hook: Firehole 860 #4
Collar : deer hair tips from the head
head: olive over orange deer- not packed too tight
eyes: 5 mm yellow and black.

Next picture from you I hope is in the what's catching you fish section. That is super sexy and should have no problem having multiple species trying to kill that. Nice work
