I'm good with the 'killing' it, Swimmy, having fun is a good thing...the mockery towards those of us who view climate change more seriously than you, however, tends to raise one's hackles...
Mind you, Oregon is a big place. Chickahominy Reservoir, 20 miles west of Burns, has been a famous trout fishery for decades. At max pool it's a mile-plus long. These photos were posted by H Fuller of Salem on the 12th.
Montana does look to be doing reasonably well, but for year to date, you are slightly above to slightly below normal; enjoy the runoff, which sounds like it will be late, and probably large due to the late snow.
Put the cat in at CP coupla days ago for a few hours, lake is full, water temp 55', wind gusts. One fish, a 20" that took a small leech on an intermediate line. Float tube flotilla in the Quinn Channel getting very few tugs. Passed by an older gent in his anchored DB who taken two on Power bait, stomachs full of small leeches...likely why the chrom rod didn't get a touch...77 here yesterday, rain and 45 on Sat...we'll take every drop..
