All three are nice, but the middle one is very nice.More practice on different hackle types and wings.

Umm, those work well, speaking from experience.@Norm Frechette has been sharing some interesting midge patterns, this one you posted, Norm - caught my attention; it's an odd midge pattern and I love the name, "Hog Magnet"

I just knotted one onto a leader, going to hang it under a Seegercator tomorrow morning....Umm, those work well, speaking from experience.
Nice workSalmon are open now, so here's the kill shot I couldn't provide last time. Note the dumb, little, purple bugger that caught 'em in between....
More really good fishing today....

Very nice! That's exactly the sparse look that I try for!
Thanks. The fly pictured is a size 8 -I like this pattern a lot for trout too! I'll usually use a 4 or 6 for Coho, but have some in 2 also. I like to fish it for Coho in low water on a clear camo intermediate line.Very nice! That's exactly the sparse look that I try for!
BTW, have you tried it with a gold body for river coho? I've had good success with that. Some people also tie this pattern with blue feathers and hair, specifically for river coho, but I've not tried that yet.
