Yes, that would be my identification. Cowbirds can be VERY sneaky. The high-pitches whistles that male make are quite distinctive but the females are masters at sneaking around.Is this a juvenile brown-headed cowbird? The backyard song sparrows got duped into raising two of them. Which I was a little surprised by since since I've never see brown-headed cowbird near my yard.
