I needed a mental health break, had limited time, and the weather was amazing so I took the canoe down to the local Industrial Waterway which is always interesting. It was low tide so I drove over to the access with more rocks and less mud. Crazy coincidence about this sticker on the sign.
Okay so if you read the sign you’ll see that they tell you where to put your craft in and even what types are appropriate (e.g. canoe). Hey so what genius decided to make the new restoration planting cover the access?
Then, let’s put loose, roundish, small quarry spalls down to the water so they can roll when people step on them and eventually wash into the river! Great idea!
Oh well. The breeze and current were a little bit pushy but the sun felt great and I saw eagles, hawks and some good waterfowl. The scenery is unique. Just an iPhone 6 for pics.
