Friend has 60 planted acres in the hills of the Anderson Valley CA and rooting wild pigs are his nemesis, so he let's a few trusted friends night hunt them with AR's and infrared scopes. He'll use a quad to drag them to a pit dug with a backhoe, bury them with a load of lime. Couple hundred pigs slaughtered this way over the decades, and they still keep coming.

I was looking at the publication date b/c I thought this might be an April Fool's joke, and while that article is awfully dramatic, I don't think it is a complete joke; the topic seems legit! First I've heard of it.
