Maybe this is old news to you, but it was new to me - an interesting episode of This American Life recently re-aired called The Feather Heist. It tells the story of Edwin Rist breaking into the British National History Museum to steal a stash of rare birds to sell their feathers and tie salmon flies. An entertaining listen, hope some of you enjoy as well!

He likely was involved. I know a guy who all but told me how he obtained some of the feathers.
