This past spring I bought a 7100-4 TCX (why? ...I have a sickness). Any ways i could not tell from pics that the wraps were different. When i received the rod the tip section was wrapped in a obnoxios yellow thread color. I returned the rod. I was informed it had been rewrapped by Sage. Huh? thought they were lying.... But lately I have noticed more older sage rods wrapped in this yellow wrap color. One ebay seller who was or is a shop owner said he sent it to sage for repair and it came back with this different wrap color and he bought it back from customer.....I have noticed several older sages with this yellow wrap. whats up? Anyone know?
