Looks good to me !

The name is very appropriate considering the wide location of most of the members.

(actually, now I'm wondering if a different name that is not limited to a state or region might be a better way to go... when you have members from all over the world, it's unfortunate to name the site for a specific region)

You make a good point ! WFF ended up an international site. Maybe some thought should be given to the name of this site as including more than a state or region.
WFF was successful targeting a single place. we don't want to spread ourselves too thin. we need a region to be the focus for it to be successful because the sites lose their personal feel when they go too broad IMO. the only good fishing forums I've ever participated in were region-specific.

That said, reports and members from abroad are always welcome. but there needs to be a theme/region we stick to.

Fair enough. You have a plan that makes sense.

I agree with this sentiment completely. Keep it “local”. If folks from other regions want to participate, great.

Amen. Besides, I still have a residential address at my mom's and a private boat launch at Pass!

My roots are in Washington State. I live in Butte Montana. Most of my knowledge is in WA. You can name it what ever you want. I have no secrets.

I like the idea that folks are local enough that I could fish with them

I have to be honest that it rubbed me the wrong way when folks posted hero shots from outside of Washington at WWF. I joined there because of the original state-wide focus (as in “the name”) and my wanting to learn as much as I could about the local fisheries.

Since this here is “PNW” FF I respect the regional focus, so no complaints.
