Although the W forced us to the bank, the kiddo and I got after it the other day. She struggled to cast in 25-35 mph gusts, but dad had her back and got enough line out to hook a couple of decent fish.
We fished a simple spring creek special on a size 12 jig with a mottled green slotted bead all day. I was so blown away with how well the kiddo handles fish these days. Crazy.
