Line Rec for Reddington CT 386

Picked up the 386 Redington classic trout, too good of a deal to pass up. Anyone have a line they feel really shines on this particular rod for fishing small to medium streams with dry flies and soft hackles? Open to any suggestions, thanks.

Cortland peach 444!
I’ve that rod plus the 376 and it’s good, cheap and lasts long.

I ended up with an SA mastery Trout WF3 after being unsuccessful finding the 444 at the somewhat local fly shop, lined it up and cast it around the yard yesterday. Holy smokes what a sweet little rod I’m super impressed. I can’t wait to spend a day on the river with it.

I use a WF3F Cortland 444 peach on my CT 386, and they seem like a perfect fit.

Cortland 444 peach and clear creek (if still made) are solid trout fly lines for medium or even medium plus fly rods.
