Water was high, fast, and muddy. Didn't even wet a line. Just enjoyed hiking the canyon and the ridge, sitting in the sun, a campfire, and some good food.

I have only seen the North Fork in the Wallowa national forest, beautiful. Where were you at? I’d love to learn the river.
Lots to learn there. We were down in the Wasco, OR area.
And for those who know the park where we were, be advised they're switching to the reservation system on April 1st. No more first come first served. They are adding one additional campsite though. And talking to the rangers there, there is lots of discussion about changing the whole dynamic of the campground....power, water, cell service, etc.

Booooooo! A huge part of what makes that place so great is the remoteness. Can't we just leave some things alone?
