Hi there,
I picked up this guitar from a nice fellow in Purdy (no, I didn't bring the rod) for $75 last year. I was thinking it would be my travel guitar, but I would like something smaller. The S-35 is a full-size (4/4) dreadnought.
This one is from the days when they were made in Indonesia. The build and finish is better than the current S-35s that are made in China. You can get the Chinese ones Amazon for $99 right now, but this one is definitely more solid.
The history of the Jasmine line is Japan>Indonesia>China. Such is life.
The previous owner had it for 10 yrs and only played it once or twice. The action was too high so I adjusted that and it plays nice and easy now. I also put new strings on it. This thing looks brand new.
Anyway, it comes with a cheap case and I'm willing to let it go for $60 local pickup. It would be a great first guitar for someone.
