I’m not much of a prepper, but I do like the idea of having some drinking water available in the event the big one hits. I’m also lazy and don’t like the idea of having to rotate my water supply every six months.

That combination of things led me to do some research on whether there are any in-line self rotating water tanks out there that you could just hook up to your existing water supply. I reasoned to myself that it shouldn’t be that different from a hot water tank, and figured there would be a decent number of options out there. All I found was this system, though.

They’ve only got one review on Amazon, and their website is a little hokey and riddled with spelling errors, so I’m suspicious. It’s also a bit out of my price range at the moment.

Those of you who store water, do any of you use such a system, or do you just fill and rotate freestanding tanks once every six months? If the latter, any tips on making it as smooth a process as possible?
