Couldn't wait, still short a lot of water, but I hit it after class (5 minutes from my building on campus). It's hard to go wrong starting with a sz. 8 black wooly bugger w/ gold bead. Found this little crappie pretty quickly.

The red eared sunfish were the stars of the day.

I may have been first in, but not by much. After a couple fish the kayak guys set up shop right at the edge of my casting range. Whole big fucking lake, and the bros had to be by me. I'm sure they show up on a poster somewhere or one of the list things that have been posted before. Haven't had much experience with that type.

Tom, did you remember to apologize for being in their way?
I think it was probably worse watching an old guy with a 6wt fly rod and sinking line out fish them both with their fancy bait casters, plastics, crankbaits, jigs and such! Wouldn't have happened before I read your book, just keep it simple.
