Fishing Glass and Pulling Trash: a Day at the Urban Fishery

Had some time free yesterday mid-day, and opted to string up one of my favorite fiberglass rods and fish/hike for an hour at our local (sub)urban fishery.

Fishing was slow - a refusal on a dry and missed one on a dropper - but did manage to bring something pic-worthy to hand:

It got deposited into the trash can once i got back to my truck.

I hope the person who left it in the river spilled the entirety of their Natty Light onto a blackberry thicket, then fell into the thicket, got a lot of thorns right into their junk, and subsequently got stung by a swarm of yellowjackets that had been attracted to the blackberries and spilled beer.

I hope the person who left it in the river ...

If this was on the Cedar, there is a good chance they capsized and that's why it ended up in the river. I have seen some very dumb (and dangerous) behavior, in the area. Much of it was parents, with their kids, sadly.
