Already on the Saltwater Dirtbag forum but the cooking content is too good to not post here. Anyway I found these gear/spear and cook channels after a short stint on swing shift let me catch up on fishing vids.
Mostly based in Key West, but I believe fishing is fishing, and a lot of what these guys are doing can be applied to PNW saltwater. Especially with how they utilize their catch. My eyes were opened last year when giving some albacore heads to a Taiwanese co-worker resulted in a dinner invite. I was hesitant to say the least but was surprised with an amazing, absolutely delicious meal. Watching these guys break down a big snapper I can't help but think taking just the fillets is not simply a waste, but missing out on some excellent eats.
These are some seriously deep rabbit holes, so don't say I didn't warn you.
