Brrrr Brrrr Lake aka Brrrr Lake Revisited

A tale of two trips....lol. About 11 days after my trip to Brrrr Lake, I found myself back there. What a difference!! Barely any snow in the parking lot and the snow level around the lake had receded substantially. Unlike my previous trip, this one was a quite a bit more successful for me in regard to numbers of fish caught. Additionally, I caught my first fish on the boobie fly. Woohoo!! Due to all the recent rain, the water was a bit murky at the upper end end, but that did not stop the fish from going after our flies. As we made our way back to the boat launch we made a couple of stops at fishy looking areas. One stop yielded 8 trout. One area we fished is called Clusters%$& Cove by a friend of ours and it certainly lived up to its name on this trip. In all, 31 fish brought to the boat. Several LDR's. Fish length ranged from 10.25"-16", and almost half the fish caught were in the 13-14" range. Overall, the weather was pretty good. A few spritzes of rain and some snow flurries. Only got chilly when the wind came up.

Wer'e off!

Hi Bruce,
So tempting to go up there soon. But too much work at the moment. Thank you for letting us fish with you virtually.
