We routinely have them in our neighborhood of central Tacoma too. They are incredibly good at urban living.Seeing a lot more coyotes this year in Mukilteo. This guys been trolling around my garden area a lot lately, idk if I’d rather have him around or the insane amount of rabbits getting into my garden.

This otter was not really happy with my presence. He came up from diving for crawdads and sculpins to find me too close and slapped the water like the way a beaver often does. Have never seen this from an Otter before. Next time surfacing he swam right over and gave me a long, slow stare down.
After a bit of more fishing he jumped a log and went on to sunning some, but still kept an eye on me.
