NFR Any plans this weekend?

My wife on monday asked if i had made any plans for this weekend and if i can take thursday off?
I work monday-thursday, so it was an easy yes to the day off and i had no concrete plans set.
Fast forward to wednesday at 4pm when i get home. She tells me to pack for Socal and bring my swim trunks. She is packed and ready to go. I take 10 minutes to load a gym bag. Off we head to airport.

Gotta love a wife that pulls these off about 3/5 times a year.

Looks like a little snow tonight so will be skiing tomorrow. Conditions have been deteriorating fast so we can sure use it.

With a baby and house both nearing completion, I expect my "weekend" to be just as fucked as every other one over the last couple of months.

I guess it is training, to prepare me for the next few years.
