The Browey portable power generator. It is a new category of solar generators in that it has the solar panel built into the unit. At 30 watts the solar panel isn't very powerful but it is always available and uses no wires. And it has inlets to attach a 120 watt panel if needed. At 22# in a rugged case it would appear to be ideal for car, pickup or tent camping with a pure sine wave inverter and 600w of output with a 1200w surge rating.
I think this is the bow wave of the next generation of solar products as it is so useful and makes so damned much sense. I'm certain that we will see more iterations of this design from other manufacturers going forward but for now there is little else like it. At $600 it is not that expensive for an all-in-one product that will charge or power a lot of equipment. Check it out, it may be the solar solution you have been waiting for.
