I wonder how many artists have recorded this great song? One of my favorites:

Many, many. It's a standard with "elegant" changes.
In gleaning some background on the piece, Marian Petrescu's "Prelude, Op. 28, No. 4 (Chopin)" intro on the video that may have been an influence for Insensatez, and his solos (especially the 2nd & 3rd) are sooo delicate and well, sensitive. Possibly a tribute to Jobim whom Wikipedia quotes in its "The Composer of Desafinado Plays" album article as saying he wasn't allowed to perform on on his primary instrument (piano) for American TV after album's release because producers said "it didn't fit the "Latin Lover" image they wanted him to portray. How Insensitive :cautious: .

Well, a change to dirt simple this afternoon. A bit White Stripes and from Belgium. These young guys are great… raw, primal and simple… listening to them sure doesn’t make me smarter but nuthin can help me there…

I was watching a Youtube about NRS Gigbob boats and at the end of the video several choices popped up (browsing history I guess), this one (which has been shared here before) popped up: worth a watch and listen.

Sorting records… been collecting since I was about 11, so 60 years. But infrequent or rather rarely in the last 20 years. Prices are nutso. So if I buy music its cd’s. Still have some records-400 or so left. I sold a few hundred to thin down. I certainly am not a completist collector but these are my largest number by any on band.

I had forgotten about Blood, Sweat & Tears then last winter during our stay in Redondo Beach I was using our hosts Pandora account and building "radio stations" when Spinning Wheel showed up as an option. Listened to BS&T several times through our stay, thanks for the reminder! Eh!

Who is that dude in the back on the left vocals.

David.(y)

@ 2:08 *Marty Balin's vocal doesn't look at all sync'd with Slick; like they've got his mic turned off? 😏
