First attempt at a clouser minnow or any fly pattern of any kind really. is it pretty? No. Will it fish? Also probably no and I don’t see myself using it unless I somehow loose every other baitfish immitation in my fly box.

Second attempt looks much prettier:

O.K. I want to be with you when you run that deep for walleye. Reminds me of a tandem fly that was hot back in the 60s on the NY Finger Lakes called the Woodchuck they trolled for smallmouth. My father had a couple that I'm sure I have somewhere around here. Not as nicely tied as this, though.
