reccomend the drive up Hart Pass to the top...stunning view

I'm not trying to continue to harp on your points I swear! As another FYI the road to Harts Pass is currently washed out, but may be good to go at some point in July. It's worth a call to the FS to make sure it's open.

lol..no worries, been two decades since my last trip to the Methow...ss to the road up the pass washing out..easily the sketchiest, no guardrail/sheer plunge gravel road ascent I've ever 'death gripped'

Great time in Winthrop.

Scored a UDFS campsite along a river that was closed to fishing.

Caught and released many native cutthroat on flies I bought from recreation director at Sun Mountain Lodge. He was excellent source of knowledge on where to fish 2 wt I'm small streams, plus listed off raft/ boat launches along the Methow.

Some great small streams in the area Greg. Glad you got your fishing in early. The dry and hot May and June may make for a bad fire season later in the summer.
