be interested in seeing how you carry your boat flyrods. The one in my 13' Sportcat is just some slotted foam I had laying around. IMG_20230527_214039722_HDR.jpg

@SurfnFish,

Where can one find that foam u used? Did you mount the foam on some wood blocks?

Looks like an old Z-Lite CCF Pad for the reels to sit on yes?

Thank you in advance.

Glad I paid for the holders when the raft was built.
Was mulling over making them myself, but projects can last for years lol. They've come in handy for sure.
No pride of self built here, but that's fine.

Then I zip tied on a Scott fly rod holder for dragging flies around.

the foam from protecting a shipment of something or other, mounted on wood, and yes the cushion is from a Z-lite from back in the day...blue mat from a yoga mat..everythng tacked together with silicone caulking, strong enough to hold, easy enough to remove
find lotta uses for inexpensive yoga mats, the denser thin ones - mats for inside planters, liner for back of wife's Forester, dirty shoes under the hall bench, etc
