Well no keepers for me this morning. A boat next to us running live bait caught two keepers in thirty minutes around the tide change.

Not on the sound but tomorrow is the Hali opener down here in area 2 and I plan to tangle with some dinosaurs as well. So very much looking forward to getting back out on the ocean.
I did receive a couple reports from friends today on the sound. Didn't take either of them long to get their fish. Hopefully there is a strong season in the sound this year. I love lings

We got one keeper today. The wind made it really hard to fish today in the spots we were really trying to hit a hard. We did get a big cabbie also.
We had the opposite problem, not enough wind to drift over the spots, so had to use the motor to cover any ground. Really wishing that I had an electric! One keeper in the cooler, one swam off because of some incompetent netting
