    Are Pass Lake Browns Gone?

    They are still there, we caught several last year in December. Agreed they seem harder to find compared to before but they do stock brown fry if I remember correctly.

    Several episodes of wind and sideway rain but we did get some nice breaks in between, fishing was the same a mish mash of good and slow spots. Lost a lot of fish due the fast current putting a big curve in the line making it hard to set the hook, and I also blame the damn jig hooks :) Last spot...

    What's in your vise?

    Perch fly on EWG 3/0 hook. Saw this cool method of a marabou pony tail extension so I had to try it. 40lb mono for the tail and lead keel on bottom.

    Some bass/muskie flies. Double rabbits glued together, not sure how they’ll fish though.

    What line to use fishing from a boat?

    Thanks for this, I had no idea they made a type 9 sink line. Orders put in, there was a day last season on @jasmillo boat where a type 7 made all the difference for sure.
