Canucks survive some craziness in the 3rd, especially in the last 3 minutes, and close out their series with the Preds.
In other news, sounds like they are too cheap to send their radio team on the road. Weak.
I actually just sent Evan and Billy a message earlier saying "Look at that, even on a fly site, got an answer to my gear fishing question in minutes!"
Makes me happy that we have so much fishing knowledge of all sorts around here.
Interestingly enough, they also apparently make a tiny single hook version in 1/28 & 1/22 oz?

I really don't like hooking trout with a treble hook unless I'm planning to bonk them (which I rarely do). But I like to use a small Kastmaster from time to time for bass or panfish.
Anyone have an advice on switching out the treble for a single on trout/panfish size (~1/8 oz) Kastmasters? I've...
Rough go for the Canucks last night. Would have been really good if they could have closed it out at home in game 5 and not have had to travel back across the country for game 6 (plus gotten a few extra days rest). I could see this going to 7 now...
That's sort of the age old thing, right? Is it the coach or the front office?
Lots of Canucks were angry when Bruce Boudreau was fired mid season last year, as they blamed the FO and ownership (myself included as a lapsed Canucks fan) for the Canucks bad play. But somehow Rick Tocchet coached...
Part of me really liked Hakstol and how he got the team rolling after a rough inaugural season, part of me saw the team significantly regressing under him this year and will be happy to see a new coach on the bench.
Different watercraft or a trailer.
My little 12ft is on a trailer and I can't imagine trying to wrestle it off the top of a canopy. A kayak fits in the back of most trucks so easily.
How big/busy is the water you fish? Could you get away with one of those pond prowlers? Or even a 1040/1236...
Yeah, weather (and kid sports) has kept me from fishing this weekend. I tossed a line from shore into one of my favorite bass lakes that opened, but it was mostly just ceremonial.
Hoping the sun pops out and lets me chase some fish later in the week.
My experience is pretty minimal due to spending most of my time on the wet side of the hills. But generally I think Rob is correct.
If you've got time to draw/aim/shoot while hoofing along in waders, holding a rod, etc... you probably have plenty of time to just get out of their way. I can't...
