Fished the canal today from 6:30 until 10:30. Not my favorite tide, but you have to fish when you can. Overall super slow, with six cutts to hand. Size was way lacking. The biggest may have been 10”. Lots of fry getting blasted, but mostly way out over the eel grass which is well beyond casting...

I agree with @troutpocket for all the same reasons. The Cortland camo was not my favorite. I gave mine away. SF

God damn it @Wadin' Boot ….. Would you please stop hot spotting. Everyone knows that lighthouse is a hot spot for wild, unclipped migratory Zebras. I will say though, that is a pretty sexy looking fishing rig if I do say so myself. Awesome patina! 😂 SF

We’ve had some high water lately due to rain, but to characterize the cause of this as flooding is a stretch to say the least. The highest the river has been was on 4/29 and it was like 4’ under flood stage. They should consistently be checking back-up systems to make sure they are functioning...
