I thought I would share this photo from May 7, 2016 of a dusty EF-2 tornado just outside of Wray, Colorado. I was in the middle of my annual two week gig as a guide/driver for Tempest Tours Storm Chasing Expeditions. It had already been a good day as we had witnessed another tornado earlier near Eckley. We were expected to provide chase updates on our social media site so I grabbed my iPhone and snapped this image of two of our guests and our tour director. If anyone wants to geek out on the details, my buddy Bill posted an excellent chase account of that day: https://stormbruiser.com/chase/2016/05/07/may-7-2016-wray-co-tornadoes/

A few more from a short trip taking my MIL to visit her granddaughter in Phoenix. Flying and walking is getting a bit much for her, so we kept things easy. Car window sunset on the way back from the Musical Instrument Museum.

Next day we hit a tourist ghost town out by Lost Dutchman State Park. Campy but fun. Nothing fake about the backdrop.

Day three Grandma needed to rest so I went on a short hike up Pima Canyon Trail at South Mountain Park while Mom/Daughter had pedicures.

Found some old "graffiti".

Got a glimpse of a road runner when hiking up the wash but couldn't get a pic. On the way out this one walked right up to me at the trailhead, apparently looking for a snack.
