I keep getting drawn back to your paw print pic. The lighting/shadowing makes it appear that the toes and pad are protruding from the mud...they weren't...right?I've been watching and loving this thread for a while. Here's a few of my better ones from the last couple years.
Jack Chinook on the Deschutes. The lighting was great. If I remember correctly, it was a little smokey that time. It's just a dumb pic of a hooked fish, but I love how the water looks around the fish. Shot with my old LG G6 that lasted way longer than most phones.

Klickitat in the fall. A great recipe for good pics, even if from a phone. Both of these are from my trusty LG G8 ThinQ. I worked for T-Mobile and had a great deal on LG phones so there you have it. To be fair, they were both the best phone I had ever had. The G8 still lives, but the battery doesn't last as long so I got a new Samsung S23. We'll see if it lives up to the hype. The G8 camera was pretty damn good.

Thanks,

I know, it's crazy. I don't remember it protruding, but noticed the same thing when I got home and saw the pic.I keep getting drawn back to your paw print pic. The lighting/shadowing makes it appear that the toes and pad are protruding from the mud...they weren't...right?
That pic makes me wish I was a geologist, so I could ID all those different rocks. Very interesting patterns!View attachment 70631
