I think regular RIT is what you want. This dye is actually a combination of different types of dye including acid dye which you fix with an acid like vinegar. The rest of the dye will probably just remain in the dye bath. The synthetic dye might be similar but probably not optimized for...
Oh, I should also mention that if anyone goes the acid dye route, a little dye goes a long way when dyeing feathers and fur as it is pretty strong stuff. A 1/2 oz bottle is enough to dye two pounds of materials. Davie McPhail on You Tube has some good tutorials.
Acid dyes from Jacquard are available from many sources in the US including Amazon. Dharma Trading is a good source and their house brand is pretty good also.

No Roper but anyway, the large lake is Osoyoos. The kidney shaped lake on bottom left is Palmer. Bottom middle is Wannacut with Blue above and to the right of it.
From what I read, there was a mudslide closer to the lake, in addition to the bridge that was washed out at the hairpin. Sounds like the mudslide is just a clean-up operation
My recollection is that most of the golden pheasant skins are imported and were banned a few years back not sure why. They were subsequently replaced with the bird in a bag. Not quite the same.
