What have you done for your boat lately?

Was it built like that, or is it a conversion from a windshield boat?
It was offered with, or without a windshield and set up for tiller steering.
The windshield catches the wind & can move the boat too fast across the water for jigging and mooching. (I hope it works great for fly casters)

They are stable and offer a relatively dry ride.

very nice, from the pics. what does something like that go for ??
I paid 10K, and I suspect that sounds a bit outrageous, but these Moochers are difficult to find in good condition. The seller sold it to me for less than he paid 4 years ago.

Anyway, keep an eye out if you like them and feel free to send me a note if I can share what I’ve learned the last few years while I searched for one!

Seems entirely reasonable for what looks like a clean hull and relatively new 4s motors given the boat market that I’m searching through right now.

Got a new motor for my boat. So had an extra 15hp long shaft. Had this boat at my mother inlaw's place so I made a jack plate for it.

had a close one towing...coming back from one of the lakes after a fun morning session yesterday, gal behind me starts flashing her beams on me just as I am pulling into Sunriver, I pull over, she yells out the window 'you have bad tire wobble on your right trailer wheel. Thank her for the alert and then drive slowly to the house.
Jack up the trailer, problem axle had the rear bearing fully disintegrated, a WTF moment, having installed new bearings and hubs last year, and regularly checked the level of bearing grease via the EZ hubs. Opposite axle hub was perfect. Images of the tire collapsing driving through the forest roads miles from home.
Had put on new 'high speed' tires three years ago and when pulling them off to check bearings realized they were half gone. All my towing is over mtn roads, twisty curves and potholes, occasional 65 mph stretch.
Only clue to the damaged bearing was finding some ilght pitting on the bottom of the axle shaft between the front and rear bearings, which makes me think the rear seal had failed and was allowing water in despite the ample grease.
Had to cut the seized rear bearing race off with a Dremel, used aluminum oxide paper and elbow grease to remove the pitting, have new hubs, wheels and tires on the way from Etrailer.
Lesson learned...during tow season jack each side periodically and check the play, don't just rely on grease.

maybe you already mentioned, but the motors from the pic, look like they are not overly used, or worn ? did they have an hour meter one could trust ?
