The good boat deal thread

No prices listed, but it looks like there's a hand made canoe and a couple of prams along with a ton of gear and flies at an estate sale in the Richland, WA area this weekend. Wish I was closer.

So I went to this today, the 8 ft and 12 ft prams are really nice. The 8 footer was only $800, I’m sure it’ll be cheaper tomorrow. The previous owner built these. There is a ton of flies if you need some. I bought a couple bamboo rods that the owner wrapped himself. Unfortunately he didn’t mark them for line weight so I’ll be testing them out. I figured for $40 for two rods, I can’t go wrong.

I know him. He built the boats himself. I don’t need any more boats…

Port Ludlow pram on FB marketplace for $100. Needs a little work but a solid pram designed for flyfishing.

these older Glasply hulls are very stable and cut through chop. Helped a friend convert a very similar hull into a tiller boat which took a whole lot of inshore fish.

I happen to be down here so I had to ask…sold.

This was my grandfather's car topper from the early 60s. It has two spots that leak that can easily be fixed. This is a 10' boat and very easy to move alone. I'm not much of a lake fisherman these days and it doesn't get the use it should. I think I have at least one clamp on style seat for it too that I can include. Can meet up in Olympia. Boat is gone!!!

10ft? 12ft?

Also, love the reflectors. Really fills out the "car topper" aspect of your grandpa's fishing.
