The 2025 NFL Season Discussion

Lucky for the G men, it was just a minor head injury suffered by Dart....

JK, I have no idea what the actual injury was.

Yeah they just are making every mistake in the book.
All 3 phases have failed.
Guess either they got issues, or looked past the Gigantes.
Fans will start calling for Siriani's head on a cheesesteak...

Thought the NY coach was going to pop an embolism when he saw Russell, who needs to turn in his jock at this point, throw the ball into the dirt at the first sign of a pass rush after being sent in.
Push tush has gotta go, ref's aren't calling the early start by the tackles, and it's just friggin ugly football, like watching a rugby scrum.
That 5'9 x 220# NY fullback is a throwback hoot, relishes contact like a fat kid likes cake

The push tush would be my play until it was banned.....just to piss everyone off and to point out it's absurdity.
They need to fix it asap.
No moving of the pile, as soon as #? of players are on a pile, call it a dead ball.

6:30am kickoff for the Broncos/Jets on Sunday?! That's a bunch of malarkey!

I have been watching pro football since the days of Paul Hornung, Y. A Tittle, Night Train Lane, Merlin Olsen and others and thought I knew what pass interference was. Not any more. I see receivers getting absolutely mugged before the ball arrives and only the most blatant examples getting called these days. Apparently the refs have been advised to look the other way when a defender has his arm around a receiver, jostles, bumps, grabs an arm or whacks a guy in the helmet. The refs don't call that stuff as often as they should but will not hesitate to throw a flag for a chicken shit infraction like "illegal man downfield!" Way too often I am telling myself: "That's interference!" while the foul is completely ignored. grrrrr!!

Pass interference is a tough one, but I do prefer they lean more into "let them play" vs throwing laundry every play. Hard to find a balance. It's the "taunting" penalties that get me. Can't stand that one.

I do still think this year has been way, way better than any season in recent memory for officiating, though. Improvements definitely being made.

That taunting call on Skattebo last night was absolutely ridiculous. I agree on the pass interference . Yes it seems throwing the laundry has calmed down this year , last night the calls seemed pretty minimal .

I thought Sirianni was going to have a stroke on that kick off blunder . He wasn't much of an interview at half time , that lose was pretty enjoyable to see , not a fan of Sirianni .

The one that really got me was a couple weeks ago on Kenneth Walker. Defender tackled him, then twisted his leg (one that he's been having injury issues with) when he got up. Walker verbally protested to said defender. Penalty called on Walker.

There has been a few tacky roughing the passers calls too. I get it but at the same time it’s a fast paced violent game and incidental contact will happen…. 🤔

Looking at the schedule, the Chefs could very well go 2-3 over the next 5 games...could be tough for them this year....

I don't know, the Chiefs seem to be losing, so refs clearly not doing their job 😃

Go Chiefs!!!
There was one pass interference call in their game with the Jaguars that probably could have went uncalled , I believe the ball was tipped , and totally uncatchable . It ended up with Jaguars getting a touchdown on that drive , pretty much the turning point in the game , and the loss . That’s football.
