Mule Creek Canyon at October levels make that the scariest water I have rowed my boat through.
Worse than the Class IV rapids on that river.

After getting skunked this morning, my wife and I took her Mom to Hood River for the afternoon. Absolutely stunning Fall day. On our way back I was snapping passenger window shots. This one from Drano Lake...



Check out the zoom. Completely random shot. I did catch a salmon today after all.

I spent a gorgeous day hiking around the Spokane river and caught a nice feisty 14” er. Lost a couple others. Caught and lost on this orange-brown leech. Autumn Leech.

And…. Oh my….Montana Highway rest stop rooms.

So nice and clean. Individual restrooms. Don’t need to stand next to someone or worry about the sounds. Plenty of restroom space. You could easily dance or run an 4 yard hitch route inside.

From the one week opening of the Sky…I’m sure most of you know where this is. A fog bank rolled in on this day. I hit it two different days. First day was more impressive. Lost three and lots of activity. Second time out was totally different. Quiet. Less fish and way less activity.

I guess I'll have to keep posting scenery pics since the steelhead haven't been cooperating!

I didn't get a decent picture showing it, but there was snow on you of the hills from last night, which makes the area even more beautiful.
