Getting 'em going

It was a bit far to cast a fly so we did some power bait dunkin' yesterday after school. Quick enough that we could release them (all 5).

And today I got to start working with his brother.

We kept this one to eat. I can hear it now "Mines bigger. I caught more." Good times with the boys.
Wish I'd spent more time with their dad, but I worked so much. At least I'm in a position to spend time with them now.

My little guys got some work to do to keep up with grandma. The youngest's fish was 14" and 1.5#. Got my wife out Saturday, 18.5" and ~3.5#. Full of grey mush and what looked like the remains of sunfish back rays. Might need to work on my streamer selection. She didn't fish last year, but we had such a good time, and she was just so stoked, she wants to go out again today.
