2023 FLY FISHING AUCTION

Member and Friends Invitation to attend and list of items

BIFF Members and Friends,

Only a few days to go till our Fly Fishing Auction fundraiser, sponsored by the Bainbridge Island Fly Fishers and Trout Unlimited Kitsap/Olympic Peninsulas, Saturday, March 25, at Grace Church, 8595 NE Day Rd E, on Bainbridge Island. Doors open at 2:00pm to view raffle baskets, silent and live auction items. The live auction starts at 2:30 pm.

We hope you will join us for an auction of new and gently used fly fishing equipment, hand-tied flies, gadgets, collectables, guided trips and much more. There are some great donations from many of our local small businesses of goods and services. There are complementary snacks and non-alcohol beverages during the auction. See below and the attached list.

• Full day float trip for 2 on the Upper Skykomish River
• Sage fly rods - 6 Weight Foundation and X rod and reel kits,
• TFO fly rods - 4, 5 and 6 weight rods

• Reels - Sage, Tibor, Abel, Redington in a variety of sizes

• Flies - Over 1500 professionally and member tied flies for trout, steelhead, and searun cutthroat
• Gift cards and products from local vendors include Tilz, Bainbridge Organic Distillers, Amelia Wynn Winery, and many more…

Proceeds benefit our joint Youth Fly Fishing EXPO at Battle Point Park, Sunday, May 7, 2023, 10AM-2PM. They also fund various projects such as fish barrier assessments, Cady Lake road repair, a student tuition to the NW Conservation Fly Fishing Academy and cash contributions to the Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group, The Nature Conservancy-Idaho, Western Rivers Conservancy, and Wild Steelhead United (Trout Unlimited).
