This came with my boat I picked up last year. Decided I wanted to go with a more powerful and overpriced new unit for some reason.
This thing works great. Pulled my 16' boat around beautifully and didn't seem to eat up all that much battery. it is an older unit and shows its age cosemtically...
VERY reluctantly listing this. But with the way my programs have gone the last couple of years, I'm just not certain I'll use it enough to justify and I need to free up space in my fishing storage.
So since it's in storage, I'm not going to get it out for new pics. This here is the last time...
At some point in the hopefully not too distant future, I want do upgrade my minn kota to a more modern model, specifically with spot lock. This is for my 16' aluminum boat I use on the Columbia for everything from smallmouth and carp to salmon trolling.
I've been looking at the Terrovas, but...
When you have an opportunity to add more horsies, you do it. Even if it means parting with a perfectly fine engine in the process.
Came on the boat I picked up a year ago. Previous owner barely used it. Very low hours (they estimated 40 total when I bought it and I am friends with them so I...
There has already been a thread or two, but wanted to make an official post about our attendance.
I will personally be at the Expo with a PNW Fly Fishing Forum booth. Going to be there to try and spread the word about what we're doing here in hopes to bring more in to our community.
Anyone...
I'm posting with little to no info to go on other than a screenshot of an instagram post from @SpawnFlyFish that my friend sent to me.
Anyone have more info about what's affected? Doesn't sound or look good at all :(
(I originally posted this on our other forum we shut down - pnwfishing.net. reposting for the folks here)
From a recommendation another forum, I grabbed myself a Vevor Chamber Vac when they went on sale recently. So picked this beast up for $100 off...
Probably mostly non-fly fishing/fishing related. But anything you partook in or stocked up on?
Me... I burn through running shoes. About a half dozen or so per year. So I just stocked up with six new pairs off my favorites at a fraction of what I've paid for them before. Dicks Sporting...
While we're not really the "Black Friday BUY ALL THE PRESENTS" types of people running the place here... We do have a lot of beanies that aren't on heads yet. It's about to be many months of cold, and it bums us out thinking about all the cold heads that are out there.
Since Evan clearly needs...
Picked this boat up from a friend earlier this year to use as my quick n easy ride for my local Columbia and Willamette River programs.
Been using it like crazy, so had to prioritize replacing the original plywood floors after the season came to an end. After my trip out yesterday, I started...
Now that coho are showing up, I'm once again seeing folks out "twitching jigs." For years, I've heard guys say "oh I've tried twitching jigs and can't catch anything" or "I just always snag fish doing it."
I don't know where you guys all learned how to "twitch jigs," but what I see 99.9% of...

Weird title, I know, but couldn't come up with a better one :D
As our 2yr anniversary is just around the corner, we wanted to take a moment to once again thank everyone for helping us keep this place humming along, and quite smoothly I might add! It's genuinely a pleasure to have such a large...
Thus was the game the last few days which really made it tough for a lot of boats, especially those who stuck to the usually very productive troll programs.
Fish were jumping everywhere, but didn't seem to want to eat out of the troll spread, and seemed to disappear as soon as you got within...
Just sat on the couch to relax finally. Not a bad day. Not the lights out wide open bites that reports were sending out earlier in the week but still what I would call solid scratch fishing.
Took my boat with my cousin and another good fishing friend on board, and buddy boated with...
Looking like this week is going to have some windows for us!
I'm hemming and hawing about Newport vs Garibaldi right now on Saturday. Kind of leaning toward Garibaldi as of this morning.
@NorthPlainsDrifter - I think you should join me out there so we can buddy boat it :D
Helping spread the word here. There is a TON of gear donated for the sale. I'm sure just about anyone could find something useful

Basically the standard PNW salmon net. Had it for about 10yrs and the bag is nearing the end of its life.
This is a "legacy" model, so Beckman no longer sells replacement bags. There are, however, third party bags that will fit it.
All that said - it works fine as-is. Just has a few gaps...
